Blended Working is about leveraging the potential flexibility within your job - when and where you do your work - to seamlessly blend other important aspects of daily life directly into your workday. The purpose is to create an enjoyable and sustainable lifestyle that enhances both your personal wellness and your job performance by allowing them to feed off of each other. It's about designing the flow of your workdays to reflect what works best and feels best for you.
Blending Work and Life rests on four fundamental principles:
1. Assessing how, when, where, and for how long at a time you do your best work at your job.
2. Identifying non-work activities that you enjoy doing and that are beneficial for your personal health and wellness.
3. Outlining your obligations and responsibilities, both at work and in the rest of your life.
4. Using the flexibility in your job to blend activities you enjoy into your workday in a way that enhances both your job performance and your wellbeing.
