Blended Working schedules come in a wide variety of formats - and that's exactly the point! Each person is unique in how they work best, which activities enhance their sense of wellbeing, and what obligations outside of work require their time, energy, and attention. Designing the right Blended Working schedule should take into account all of these things in order to create a lifestyle that works best for you.
Most blended working schedules tend to share at least some of the following characteristics:
- Starting the workday earlier or ending later to allow time for other non-work activities.
- Taking more and/or longer breaks during the workday.
- Using breaks for specific health and wellness activities (not just to stop working for a while)
- Using technology to allow more flexibility in when and where work can be done.
