This 2.5-day workshop is designed to enhance employee health and wellness in the workplace. It will provide participants with knowledge and tools to apply the principles of a Flipped Work Day in everyday life by blending Nature-based activities into the workday. At the heart of the workshop is a hands-on experience of two full Flipped Work Days. This includes designated work blocks, scheduled guided outdoor activities, and participation in learning and discussion sessions. Participants will leave the workshop with a clear understanding of Flipped Work Day concepts and how they can be integrated into daily or weekly work routines.
DAY 1 (Half Day)
Participants will arrive in the evening on Day 1 and begin learning about the principles underlying the concepts of Blended Working and The Flipped Work Day. The rest of the evening will be social time to get to know each other and prepare for the following day.
DAY 2 (Full Day)
We'll start Day 2 with an early morning breakfast and follow a standard Flipped Work Day schedule. This includes guided outdoor excursions blended into the heart of the work day, as well as a discussion and learning session in the evening. The rest of the evening will be free time to relax and socialize.
DAY 3 (Full Day)
We'll again start bright and early and adopt a Flipped Work Day schedule. Participants will be encouraged to try a different schedule than Day 2. We'll have guided outdoor excursions scheduled during the day, blended in between work blocks. The workshop will wrap up at the end of the workday with a discussion period.
